About PelletDesk

Built from Rajasthan.
Built for the world.

PelletDesk started with a simple frustration — and turned into something much larger.

The founding story

A friend of mine wanted to set up a 5 TPH biomass pellet plant here in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan — right in the heart of India's largest agri-residue belt. He had the land, the intent, and the market sense. What he didn't have was reliable information.

Finding verified pellet suppliers was nearly impossible online. Price data was scattered across WhatsApp forwards and phone calls. Certifications were a mystery. Equipment manufacturers were difficult to compare. And connecting with international buyers required knowing the right people.

That experience — watching someone capable and motivated struggle to find basic industry information — is what PelletDesk is built to solve.

We are building the infrastructure layer that biomass pellet trade has always lacked: a structured, verified, spec-first platform where suppliers can be found, buyers can source, prices can be tracked, and knowledge can be accessed — without friction, without gatekeepers, and without middlemen taking a cut just for making an introduction.

Our mission

To make global biomass pellet trade transparent, structured, and accessible — for every supplier, buyer, and plant operator, regardless of where they are in the world.

What makes PelletDesk different
Spec-first, not ad-first
Every supplier listing is built around real data — GCV, ash content, moisture, certifications, MOQ. Not marketing copy.
Global scope, honest roots
We are based in India and know Indian markets deeply. But PelletDesk is built equally for suppliers in Vietnam, Germany, Canada, and buyers in Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, and everywhere else.
No middlemen model
PelletDesk connects buyers and sellers directly. We do not take commissions on deals, do not insert ourselves into transactions, and do not sell introductions.
Knowledge as infrastructure
The Learn section and Market Intelligence reports are not content marketing. They are tools — to help plant operators make better decisions, help buyers ask better questions, and help suppliers understand what global markets actually need.
Built to last
This is not a directory that goes stale. Prices update weekly. Profiles are reviewed. Trade leads expire. The platform is designed to stay accurate, not just get populated once.
